Labels · on quoteProduct and packaging labels for every EU country you sell to
One product sold in several EU countries needs safety information in each country's language and, for its packaging, each country's sorting marks. We prepare the label files and the listing text, per product and per country, from the data already in your dashboard.
What a product sold in the EU has to carry
- Identification and contacts (GPSR): a type, batch or serial number, the manufacturer's name and postal and electronic address, and, for a manufacturer outside the EU, the responsible person's (GPSR Art. 9(5)–(6), Art. 16(3)).
- Instructions and safety information in a language set by each country where the product is sold (GPSR Art. 9(7)); the same warnings in online listings (Art. 19).
- France, household packaging: the Triman logo with the Info-tri sorting instruction, on the packaging or a sticker, since 9 September 2022 (Environmental Code L. 541-9-3).
- Italy, all packaging: environmental labelling to help collection and recycling, including the identification of packaging materials under Decision 97/129/EC (D.Lgs. 152/2006, art. 219(5)).
- Product-specific rules where they apply, such as CE marking or textile fibre composition: we flag them and quote them separately.
