Packaging EPR is national, but the work behind it repeats. Done in this order, most of it is done once and reused in every country.

Obligations follow the country where your packaging reaches buyers, so start from your orders: every delivery country, every channel (marketplaces, your own shop, direct B2B). Your free account does this from your connected stores and Amazon account. Include the countries you ship to only occasionally: in Germany, Spain and Italy small volumes change how you declare, not whether you must.

Since 12 August 2026 the EU Packaging Regulation requires a producer selling directly to end users in a country where it is not established to appoint an authorised representative established there, one per country. Stock in a marketplace's or logistics provider's warehouse, or a local VAT number, does not make you established. France has required its own representative since 10 July 2026.

Registration and scheme membership are separate in every country, and each gives you something different: the register gives the number marketplaces ask for (LUCID in Germany, an IDU per stream in France, ENV in Spain, a CONAI number in Italy); the scheme collects and recycles and charges by weight and material. One registration does not cover another country.

Material and weight per product, including the shipping box and filling, are the same wherever the parcel goes. Enter them once per product; every country's figures are calculated from the same record.
Each country needs its own quantities (units to buyers in that country), its own categories (each scheme's material list; household or commercial in some countries; separate product streams in France) and its own calendar. The figures come from the same orders, so they add up across countries.

Marketplaces ask for your registration number per country and category. A marketplace collecting or paying on your behalf on its own platform does not register you, and does not cover your other channels.
Connect your store and see, per EU country, what you shipped and the kilograms each declaration asks for. Free.
