Resources / Answers / Marketplaces and your own shop

Does Amazon's EPR service also cover my own website and other marketplaces?

No. Amazon's services cover what you sell on Amazon; your own shop and other channels need your own registrations.

No. In France, Pay on Behalf is Amazon's fallback for sellers without a valid French EPR number: Amazon reports your Amazon.fr sales and recovers the eco-contributions from your account, but registers nothing in your name. Your own website, other marketplaces and direct B2B sales are not covered. In Germany, Amazon may act if you are non-compliant, but that is not an authorised representative, who is appointed by written mandate and named in LUCID.

Selling on Amazon and your own shop? Count both channels once, per delivery country, and declare them under your own registrations. EPR EU Rep reads Amazon and your store side by side.
