Authorised representative in Spain

Royal Decree 1055/2022 requires a producer with no establishment in Spain to designate a representative in Spanish territory to discharge its packaging obligations. We take that role in our own name, register you and contract the collection scheme (SCRAP).

What the law requires

Registration in the Producer Register (RPP) at MITECO, which gives your ENV number for invoices and marketplaces.
A Spanish tax number (NIF). For a foreign company it begins with N.
Membership of a collection scheme (SCRAP): Ecoembes for household packaging, others for commercial packaging.
Annual declarations to the scheme and in the RPP.
